Storytelling Session Info and Pricing
All documentary or storytelling sessions with Zuzapix, Photography by Zuzanna Mendez are all inclusive, meaning you’ll get all the digital photos I choose to tell your unique story. I edit every single image myself. You’ll receive a link to your private online gallery from which you’ll be able to order your prints and download all the photos. Ask me about designing a photo book for you.
Full Day in a Life - $1500
I currently offer this session only on a weekend. It is a 12 hour coverage. We’ll start in the morning with messy hair and hangry moods and we’ll finish with bedtime stories and goodnight kisses. In the full day session we’ll do a lot. The sky is the limit. We’ll brainstorm ahead of time and have a great plan. Then things will not go according to plan and we’ll go with the flow. And it’s going to be beautiful and as unique as you and your family.
Half Day in a Life - $900
This is my most popular session. It is a 6 hour coverage of your day. Perfect for documenting morning, midday or afternoon routine, a trip to the park or a nearby forest, having a picnic or stopping by for ice cream and coffee at a favorite local spot. Whatever you do within these 6 hours I will document it.
Short Story - $500
A condensed, storytelling session that is great for documentary style newbies. They last about 2-3 hours so they are perfect for photographing specific activities, family traditions or routines (making pancakes, hanging out at your backyard, running through sprinklers, trip to the park or eating ice cream at your favorite shop, making s’mores at a bonfire or anything else that your family likes to do)

After you send out the form I will contact you to schedule a call, so we can talk. I will answer any questions you may have, we’ll figure out if I’m the right fit for you, what is the best length and time for your session, etc.
After our chat, we’ll sign the contract and after paying the deposit you’ll officially be on my calendar.

We’ll talk details.
Next, I will email you a detailed questionnaire for you to fill out, so that I can start getting to know you and the vibe of your family. It will be things like what time do you get up, what is your favorite breakfast, your kids favorite things to do, their personalities etc.
Closer to our session date we will talk again and we’ll decide how to structure your time with me, so I can capture your family’s story most authentically.

We hang out!
This is it. It’s your family’s session day. You can expect me showing up on time, being totally present with you and creating genuine, artful photographs of you and your family. The only thing you have to do is to relax and be present with your loved ones.
You don’t have to dress up, your kids don’t have to behave, nobody needs to smile or pose for me. We’re just going to hang out together and watch the day unfold.

Receive your images.
Within 3-4 weeks, you’ll receive access to your private online gallery. You will be able to download your photos from there, as well as order your prints or wall art if you wish. Easy peasy. If you are interested in a photo book I can make that happen for you as well. Just ask me about it.
