Half Day In The Life Session with The K Family | Hoffman Estates Family Photographer

This was one of my first Half Day In The Life Sessions I’ve done. A family of 6! I spent a Saturday morning with them, documenting just a regular breakfast time and kids playing around. There was plenty of toys, naps and lots of eating. These boys were hungry all the time! Kudos to the parents, I don’t know how were they staying sane with that many children. It was a great learning experience for me and I was very grateful that I could be a part of their family for those few hours.

The point of these kind of sessions is to capture the real family dynamics, emotions and the way their life looks like at that moment of their life. Every session is unique because every family is different and has their own story. These one of a kind photos are a family legacy that can be looked back on in the years to come.

I hope that I am convincing you that these kind of photographs are priceless. They are much deeper and more important than posed, pretty pictures. There is time and place for those too, but documenting your family in an unscripted, genuine way is much more meaningful and important.
